Minister Posani: More than 35,000 families have been incorporated into the Single Housing Registry

The Minister of Popular Power for Habitat and Housing, Paola Posani, assured that to date more than 35,000 families have been included in the Single Housing Registry in the states of La Guaira, Miranda and Caracas, and that the registration of affected families will soon begin in the state of Aragua.

During an interview with Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), Posani pointed out that the Single Housing Registry is crossed with the databases of different state agencies to ensure data transparency and that, after that registration, a commission is responsible for assigning housing to affected families.

He also stressed that right now the State is “planning for the emergency and for the future”, so it takes the opportunity to plan a regeneration of the territory and the city so that urban complexes are intertwined.

He also explained that the houses are delivered fully equipped and that they are assigned to families from the same area and the same temporary camp so that they can be organized as a community and contribute to this regeneration of the territory from the communal organization.
