The Minister for Communes and Social Movements, Ángel Prado, assured that the community members of Venezuela have become a clear example for the new generations and for the world.

During the First National Training Meeting for Trainers, at the University of the Communes (UNACOM), in the state of Carabobo, Prado said: “If the model of the Commune succeeds here, it will be implemented throughout Latin America and will be a world heritage,” he said.

“Today, socialism in my community has shown us that with this model we can have good schools, roads, agricultural funding and the development of the entire community,” said the Prado.

He stressed that the Venezuelan Commune is the antagonist to the capitalist model and to the wars that today threaten to wipe out the human species.

Prado recalled that President Nicolás Maduro called on Venezuelans to deepen and radicalize the construction of the Commune and that should not remain just a slogan. “The Commune must be to truly govern, it cannot be a parapet, nor flattery, nor appendix to anyone,” he emphasized.

The meeting was attended by the rector of UNACOM, Jorge Arreaza, as well as his vice-rector, Kell y Pacheco
