Minister Prado: On February 21, the campaign for the Popular Consultation begins

Through his Telegram channel, the Minister of Popular Power for the Communes, Ángel Prado, reported that on February 21, the electoral campaign for the National Popular Consultation scheduled for March 8 begins, in which 36,416 projects will be promoted throughout the national territory.

“On February 21, the electoral campaign begins to promote 36,416 projects that go to the National Popular Consultation in the 5,336 Communes or Communal Circuits across the country, linking 47,367 Community Councils,” he said.

He reaffirmed that this day is part of the exercise of participatory and leading democracy promoted by Popular Power in Venezuela. At the same time, he indicated that 10,210 polling stations and 11,476 voting stations will be set up to guarantee the process throughout the country.

He also stressed that this consultation strengthens the model of communal self-government and the principle of popular sovereignty. “The people rule here,” he said.
