Minister Prado: The People celebrate political decision to execute the National Budget through Popular Power

This Sunday, April 27, the Minister for Communes and Social Movements, Ángel Prado, confirmed that more than 47,000 communities gathered at electoral centers to choose their projects in full participatory and leading democracy.

“It is a true electoral holiday, one of full, participatory democracy, and it has great value because the countryside, in the community, our people celebrate the political decision of the President to propose this method of executing the National Budget with the popular organization,” he emphasized in a special program on Venezolana de Televisión, where he shared impressions about the development of the second National Popular Consultation 2025.

He assured that Popular Power “is increasingly empowered, that it is consolidating its basic structures and that it is being formed, learning in concrete practice and assuming responsibility in communities to address specific problems.”

“A strong, solid, collective leadership is being built from men and women who stand up for the neighborhood and are recognized by people in the community,” he said.
