Minister Ricardo Menéndez: Planning for the 2027 National Budget is progressing

The planning of the schedule for the nation's 2027 budget is progressing, with the execution of workshops aimed at building scientific indicators for the elaboration of the Concrete Agenda for Action (ACA) and the monitoring of public management in the territories.
The sectoral vice-president of Planning, Ricardo Menéndez, reported on the reception of projects formulated by the country's communities, which will be the executing arm of the prioritization depending on the current conjunctures, especially those derived from the earthquake.
Menéndez pointed out that this collection of information makes it possible to structure public policies based on the direct demands of the People's Power, to ensure that planning responds to the real needs of each territory.
He also highlighted the importance of prioritizing actions for the rest of 2026 and the year 2027, depending on the country's economic and political conjunctures.
He emphasized the use of the National Statistical and Geographic System as a tool for measurement and monitoring in the field, which makes it possible to contrast institutional indicators with the concrete reality of the population.
