Minister Saab: Everyone is welcome to this first AgroAlba Expoferia

The Minister of People's Power for Industries and National Production, Alex Saab, stressed that AgroAlba is more than a national project; it is a regional cooperation initiative that seeks to strengthen agricultural production through the joint work of several nations.

“Everyone is welcome to this first AgroAlba Expoferia. We have the land, the human quality and the raw material to make this event a success for the entire world,” he said.

The minister also noted that Venezuela has achieved 98% of food self-sufficiency, with millions of hectares available to expand production, supply the population and boost exports. “We call on the world to set its eyes on Venezuela, to trust our fields and to produce together,” he emphasized.

For his part, the Minister of Popular Power for Agriculture and Lands, Julio León Heredia, highlighted the importance of agri-food security as a fundamental pillar of sustainable development.

“Agricultural production must guarantee the well-being of our people, under the principles of solidarity and complementarity. Venezuela continues to make progress in this objective,” he said.

It should be noted that the Expoferia AgroAlba 2025 will be held on Thursday 5 and Friday 6 June in Caracas, with the participation of several countries.
