Minister Sánchez: students must be vigilant in the execution of the university budget

University students need to be vigilant about the approval and correct execution of their house budget.

This was stated by the Minister of University Education, Ricardo Sánchez, who assured that young people must be protagonists in the discussion of the budget and ensure that it pays in favor of universities and not of their authorities.

“We are going to discuss the issue of the university budget, a budget that must be transparent, participatory, productive because it must pay tribute to the great causes of the Venezuelan university and not to the interests of some rectors and authorities,” said Sánchez during his participation in the installation of the IV Congress of the Venezuelan Federation of University Students (FVEU).

On the other hand, the minister emphasized that the FVEU is more than a student organization, it is “the beating heart of youth” so it must continue to be a fundamental pillar in defense of student rights.
