Minister Velásquez Araguayán oversaw the progress of work on the El Limón Bridge and the El Amor Tunnel

The Minister of Popular Power for Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, reported that in the Heroic Towns Corridor on the Caracas - La Guaira Highway, a deployment was carried out together with the Sectorial Vice Presidency of Public Works and Services, to monitor the progress of work on the El Limón Bridge and the El Amor Tunnel.

In his account on the social network Instagram, he specified that the National Road Maintenance Company is carrying out a specialized technical deployment in infrastructure with tasks focused primarily on optimizing the drainage system, which includes critical tasks of unloading, deep cleaning and structural repair.

He also stressed that the Bolivarian Government will carry out the installation of new sewerage, as well as the recovery of the asphalt carpet and other works framed in Q2 of the 7 Great Transformations to guarantee the well-being and mobility of the Venezuelan people.

He added that these actions are the fundamental prerequisite for the installation of a new sewer system, designed to ensure the correct flow of rainwater and prevent damage to the asphalt road of the important road artery.

He also pointed out that gabion walls are being reinforced and perimeter walls that had collapsed are being reconstructed.
