The Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Ernesto Villegas, announced the start of the Cambur Pintón Movement, as part of the celebration of National Artist's Day at the José Ignacio Cabrujas Educational Complex, in Caracas.

During the activity, which was attended by the Promotion Team of the Great Mission Viva Venezuela Mi Patria Querida, stage creators, circus performers and doll teachers, Villegas presented an array of musical instruments and announced that the educational institution will be the first nucleus of this initiative.

He also explained that the Cambur Pintón Movement has as its goal by 2026 that the sound of the four, the maracas and the drums will multiply in all schools in the country.

On the other hand, he stressed that culture remains mobilized in defense of peace and national identity. “We have come to vindicate our children and accompany them in this process of overcoming through the balm of art and culture. They have the right to a future without violence, where the stability of our institutions and the peace of the country are guaranteed,” he said.

The head of Culture sent a message of solidarity to the communities of Ciudad Tiuna, La Boyera and Catia La Mar, affected after the attack on Venezuela, which occurred on January 3rd. In addition, he rejected the kidnapping of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, and the First Combatant, Cilia Flores, by the United States, stating that their immediate release is expected.

In the same way, he expressed his support for the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, who exercises her functions to the fullest to guarantee the country's sovereignty and stability.

“Our president Nicolás Maduro has been very concerned about reading, about ensuring that we have training in every sense. A formation that allows us to be free as citizens and as patriots,” he said.

In this way, the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture reaffirms its commitment to strengthening the educational and cultural system, consolidating spaces for learning, recreation and access to the different artistic expressions that make up the national identity.
