Through the social network Instagram, the Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Ernesto Villegas, reported that Venezuela vibrates and shines at the Havana Art Biennial, which has been taking place since last November 15 in Cuba.
In the same way, Villegas shared audiovisual material showing the work that Venezuelan women and women cultivators are exhibiting at the Biennial.
For his part, the plastic artist J Uvenal Ravelo highlighted that his exhibition participating in the Havana Art Biennial was also presented at the Peoples of the East and the Venezuelan Plain, as well as at the French Biennial.
The Havana Biennial turns avenues and other public places in the picturesque Caribbean capital into artistic spaces with large-format works on the facades of buildings and public spaces.
This activity is a contemporary art event that dates back to 1984, organized by the Wilfredo Lam Center, in order to contribute to the dissemination of visual arts from Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Latin America and the Caribbean.
