Ministry for Health activates vaccine plan for indigenous areas of Bolívar and Táchira

The Ministry of Popular Power for Health, activated the special Andean Border Vaccination Week plan from August 16 to 23 in the states of Bolívar and Táchira to guarantee free immunization, deworming and medical care to indigenous communities and neighboring areas.

Under the slogan “Venezuela, vaccinated and safe borders!” , the program covers house-to-house approaches, fixed points and extramural operations aimed at protecting children, young people and adults in strategic municipalities of both entities, details the ministerial portfolio on its website.

During the activity, health teams carry out nutritional checks, malaria screening and immunization against various diseases.
