The Deputy Minister of Development and Cultural Economy, Raúl Cazal, accompanied the political-cultural day organized by the Ministry for Culture in the state of Nueva Esparta, where the people mobilized in defense of the sovereignty of Venezuela participated, after the interventionist aggressions of the United States.
The agenda included social days for the People, tributes to those who died in combat, musical performances, tours and various expressions of support for the Bolivarian Revolution.
Deputy Minister Cazal strongly rejected the kidnapping of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro and the First Fighter, Cilia Flores, denouncing that the U.S. government is attacking the country with the intention of appropriating its oil.
He also stressed that, in the face of this affront, the Venezuelan people have a clear path of conscience to continue the revolutionary project. “Here there is a people, there is a homeland, there is sovereignty and there is a lot of courage to defend it in any way,” he said.
In the same way, he stressed that the integrity of President Nicolás Maduro at the current juncture is an example of dignity before the world. “The worst thing they did was to mess with Venezuela, to have kidnapped our president, who is now a man that everyone knows for his dignity, courage and courage, because he has morals, he has a way of standing up against any of these ignominies,” he argued.
He emphasized that, despite external threats, a conscious people and a political line drawn by Commander Hugo Chávez and continued by President Maduro prevail in Venezuela. At the same time, he stressed that, while external sectors are betting on violence, the Bolivarian Revolution focuses on life and humanity, through great social missions. “While they are born to kill, we are born to overcome, to live,” he said.
In addition, he affirmed that the honesty and gallantry of the Bolivarian process are the guarantee that the country will continue to move towards victory and the preservation of its self-determination.
