Ministry of Ecosocialism launched National Registry for the Solid Waste Management Plan

The Ministry of Popular Power for Ecosocialism authorized the National Registry for the preparation of the Comprehensive Solid Waste Management Plan for 335 municipalities and 24 states.

The 5,336 Ecosocialist Councils in formation will participate in the collection of information. The process will identify the quantity and type of waste produced in each location, review collection routes, update operational equipment and evaluate final disposal systems, with the objective of consolidating a national plan to improve waste treatment throughout the country.

Local authorities must send the updated data to the email addresses established by the Ministry.

The action is part of Summit number 6 of the Great Mother Earth Venezuela Mission, Sanitation for Life, aimed at reducing waste, promoting its reuse and organizing its exploitation.
