Ministry of Education will digitize the work of teacher Luis Beltrán Prieto Figueroa

The Minister of Popular Power for Education, Héctor Rodríguez, announced this Thursday the
digitization of the work of the teacher Luis Beltrán Prieto Figueroa to be publicly accessible and a source of study for
teachers and society in general.
“I think it's a beautiful way to celebrate Venezuelan teacher
's day, because Luis Beltrán, like
many others, is a way of reflecting each one of you
(teachers),” he said.
Rodríguez explained, quoted in a press release,
that progress has already been made in the systematization of his notes. “There is a very special
notebook where Luis Beltrán wrote down what books he was
reading, to whom he lent books and the interesting thing is how we can
build the reading circle that existed around the teacher of teachers, the idea of building which political and
intellectual actors were reading what (topic) at each juncture,” he exclaimed.
He explained
that it is an “extremely interesting” line of research that began
when his notebooks began to be studied, and that thanks to this digitization process
, it will be available for access to all Venezuelan teachers.
