Ministry of Health distributed more than 400,000 medical supplies in La Guaira's hospital network

The Ministry of Popular Power for Health (MPPS), in coordination with the regional government, began this Friday, January 9th, an operation to distribute 410,523 units of medical supplies and medicines in the seven main hospital and outpatient centers in the state of La Guaira.
The supplies, whose reported investment exceeds 682,000 dollars, were delivered from the main health warehouse in the La Guaira Outpatient Clinic, with the presence of Governor José Alejandro Terán and the single health authority, Nelare Bermúdez.
The supplies include 80 high-turnover active ingredients such as antibiotics, antihypertensives, anti-inflammatory drugs, analgesics, hypoglycemic agents, hydroelectrolyte solutions and disposable medical-surgical material.
Governor Terán stated that these resources are aimed at “protecting our people and are distributed while waiting for the successful return of President Nicolás Maduro, a victim of U.S. military aggression and a political prisoner.”
He assured that the health personnel of La Guaira maintain their loyalty to the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez.
