Ministry of Health inaugurates Comprehensive Care Unit for Women in Miranda

This Friday, the inauguration of the Comprehensive Care Unit for Women took place in Ocumare del Tuy, located in the Tomás Lander municipality of Miranda state.
The new health center was created with the purpose of providing specialized and free medical services, ensuring an immediate and quality response for the inhabitants of the region. This initiative is consolidated as part of the first summit of the Great Venezuela Women's Mission, which is aimed at the comprehensive protection of the life and health of Venezuelan women in each of its stages, details a press release from the Ministry of Popular Power for Health.
During the activity, the authorities reaffirmed their commitment to the defense of social rights and the welfare of the people, stressing that this work represents a significant advance in the community care infrastructure and the Humanized Childbirth program in the state.
Governor Elio Serrano described the opening as one of the most impactful works for the Mirandina entity. He explained that the center has a pharmacy equipped to supply medications and vitamin complexes necessary for pregnant women, as well as treatment rooms for preventive medicine. The regional president also highlighted the existence of spaces for emotional and psychological care, a tool for the empowerment and mental health of patients.
