With the objective of defining a road map for collaboration aimed at promoting and dynamizing the national productive apparatus, the Minister of Popular Power for Industries and National Production, Alex Saab, held a high-level strategic working day, with the leaders of the country's main industrial organizations: Luigi Pisella, president of the Venezuelan Confederation of Industrialists (CONINDUSTRIA) and Orlando Camacho, president of the Federation of Chambers and Companies of Venezuela (FEDEINDUSTRIA).
During the session, the crucial importance of strengthening productive links between the various sectors of the Venezuelan economy was highlighted, according to a press release published on the website of the aforementioned Ministry.
In addition, the need to promote the transformation of indigenous raw materials, generating added value at the national level, was emphasized.
A fundamental point of convergence was the creation of a business environment that stimulates investment, encourages technological innovation and promotes development in all its dimensions, protecting domestic production within the framework of the line proposed by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.
The participating parties agreed that the synergy between the State and the industrial sectors is a determining factor for advancing the selective substitution of imports, the creation of new sources of employment and the consolidation of a model of lasting and sustainable economic growth, taking into account public and private industry.
This instance of dialogue and coordination is part of the initiatives being carried out by the National Executive, reaffirming its commitment to promoting a constructive exchange with the fundamental actors of the economy.
The purpose is to build, in a joint and participatory manner, effective solutions for the integral development of the nation.
