Ministry of Sports calls for a ride for the Venezuelan Renaissance

Cycling and commitment to Venezuela meet the solidarity initiative We Pedal for Venezuela: Kilometers with Purpose, a round that invites the country's sports communities to join forces to contribute to the needs of those affected by the last double earthquake of June 24 on Sunday, August 30.

The activity seeks to turn every kilometer traveled into an expression of solidarity, with the active participation of clubs, athletes, fans and sports communities that come together for the same purpose of the country's revival and the well-being of families who require support, according to a press release from the Ministry of Popular Power for Sport (MINDEPORTE).

Participants can formalize their registration and deliver the requested supplies at the Ultrabikex Caracas store located on Avenida Blandín and Santa Teresa de Jesús street, Ultrabikex corner of Caracas, from Monday to Friday from 10:00am to 6:00pm and Saturdays from 11:00am to 4:00pm.

Among the contributions that can be made are personal hygiene and hygiene items for children and adults, supplements for babies, hygiene products for the home and camping, canned food and seasonings for meals. Also medications in different categories, including cardiovascular and antihypertensive drugs, diuretics, analgesics, antibiotics, respiratory and anti-allergic drugs, topical and dermatological treatments, eye and eye health, gastrointestinal and metabolic and hormonal supplements, as well as psychotropic and anxiolytic drugs, together with medical supplies and healing material.
