Ministry of Tourism announces reopening of Mukumbarí Cable Car System

The Minister of People's Power for Tourism, Daniella Cabello, announced that this Wednesday, August 19, the Mukumbarí Cable Car System will reopen its doors to the public.
The opening, initially scheduled for early August, was adjusted as a result of the seismic double, the arrival of key equipment for maintenance work was delayed.
Cabello reported that the technical team's priority has been to ensure maximum user safety and the operation of the system at full capacity.
The improvements and maintenance carried out include the installation of new reconnectors, state-of-the-art frequency converters, the adaptation of the grounding network and the implementation of new electrical protections to protect the infrastructure of the highest cable car in the world.
