Ministry of Tourism established strategies to boost and strengthen its sector

The Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Leticia Gómez, reported that she held a fruitful meeting with the regional managers of the National Tourism Institute (INATUR), presidents of Tourism Corporations and Tourism Secretariats.

In this regard, through his account on the social network Instagram, Gómez indicated that the meeting was held with the purpose of advancing strategies to promote and strengthen Motor Tourism throughout the national territory.

Motor Tourism is a plan of the Bolivarian Government, led by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, which seeks to diversify the country's economy by boosting this sector.

The objective is to strengthen local tourism development and promote the country as a tourist destination for Venezuelans and foreigners, through different engines: tourism infrastructure, quality services, tourism training and awareness, tourism promotion and safety.
