Ministry of Transport inspects construction of Oriente terminal in Maracay (+Aragua)

The Minister of Popular Power for Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, visited the state capital Aragua to oversee work on the facilities of the new Terminal de Oriente located in San Jacinto. He was accompanied on the tour by the mayor of the Girardot municipality, Rafael Morales and other regional authorities.

Cited by the local press, officials stated that the construction of the new terminal is part of the Public Transport Reorganization Plan in the capital of Aragüeña. Namely, this space will deconcentrate 70% of the Maracay Central Terminal and improve transportation mobilization.

Among the advances of this building, we can already see the construction of floors and porches on the five platforms that make up this terminal, the installation of the roof structures is also carried out, in addition to the consolidation of the drainage system.
