Ministry of Transport maintains La Planicie tunnel

The Ministry of Popular Power for Transportation through the National Road Maintenance Company (ENVIAL) deployed a comprehensive road maintenance operation in the North-South Corridor, specifically in the La Planicie Tunnel sector (lower part).

During the day, the crews carried out road sweeping and solid waste collection tasks, removing sediment and debris that usually accumulate on the side of the road. These actions not only improve the aesthetics of the environment, but they also guarantee smoother and safer mobility for the thousands of drivers who travel daily through this important road artery, details the INTT press release.

In addition, the work crews carried out uncovering and preventive maintenance of the sewage system in the area. By cleaning sumps and tanks, we seek to optimize rainwater drainage and avoid flooding that could compromise asphalt infrastructure or put users at risk.
