The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), pointed out that the clear violation of Venezuela's sovereignty is another example that clearly proves once again the banditarian and brutal nature of the United States, which has been observed for a long time by international society.

'We are paying attention to the seriousness of the current situation in Venezuela caused by US coercion, linking it to the increased instability of the regional situation, which is already in a fragile state, 'said the spokesman in an interview with the Korean Central News Agency.

The MINREX of the DPRK categorically condemned the hegemonic act of the United States perpetrated in Venezuela and described it as the most serious violation of sovereignty and an open attack against the Charter of the United Nations (UN) and international laws whose main purpose is respect for sovereignty, non-intervention in internal affairs and territorial integrity.

In this regard, he called on international society to raise its voices of protest and well-deserved condemnation of the usual acts of violation of U.S. sovereignty, recognizing the seriousness of the present case of Venezuela, which has caused a destructive consequence to the establishment of the stagnant nature of the structure of regional and international relations.
