MinSalud inspects Colegio Gran Colombia's temporary camp

The Bolivarian Government, through the Ministry of Health, toured the temporary camp located in the Gran Colombia School, in order to guarantee the functioning of the health services offered in the place.

In this regard, Rosalbina Hurtado, Deputy Minister of Comprehensive Health and the capital's single health authority, specified that on instructions from the Minister of People's Power for Health, Dr. Carlos Alvarado, “the different temporary camps are being visited, in order to verify the equipment and the different needs of the families affected on June 24.”

He also specified that this route allows us to know the different cases of chronic diseases, in order to keep a check. In addition, he noted that the visit makes it possible to verify that “the health regulations issued by the Ministry of the People's Power for Health are being complied with.”

Finally, it was agreed that first-aid kits were delivered, consisting of “basic equipment” in case of fever, in case of diarrheal syndrome, in case of an injury. These kits are received by donation from Türkiye.”

The oversight was accompanied by Noly Fernández, Deputy Minister of Ambulatory Health Care Networks and Alexandra Hernandez de Castillo, Deputy Minister of Resources, Technology and Regulation.
