MINTUR promotes supervised tourist accommodation in Zulia

A multidisciplinary team from the General Directorate of Tourism Quality of the Ministry of Popular Power for Tourism (MINTUR) supervised accommodation establishments in the state of Zulia, in order to ensure the improvement of service for tourists who arrive during the dates.

This commission complies with the guidelines of Minister Leticia Gómez to strengthen the promotion of continuous improvements on the part of Tourism Service Providers associated with the category rank granted by MINTUR.

Through these evaluation days, it is guaranteed that each hotel and inn complies with the technical and legal regulations, contemplated in the Strategic Plan for Standardization and Categorization. During the day, advice was also provided to obtain benefits that raise service standards.

In this way, MINTUR consolidates tourism activity as a strategic engine that drives the growth of the national economy promoted by the President of the Bolivarian Republic, Nicolás Maduro, with the Plan of the Seven Years.
