Miranda activates more than 11,000 civil servants for Carnavales Seguros 2026

On the occasion of the Carnavales Seguros 2026, in the state of Miranda, more than 11,000 security and prevention officers have been mobilized, who will be distributed in the 21 municipalities of the Mirandina entity from this Friday 13th to next Tuesday, February 17th.
The official launch took place from the Puerto Francés resort, in the Brión municipality, where the governor of the state of Miranda, Elio Serrano, activated the Carnavales Seguros 2026 device, to mark the beginning of a massive deployment for the protection of own and visitors.
The operation has logistics designed to cover all fronts, comprising the Bolivarian National Police (PNB); Civil Protection (PC); Miranda Firefighters; Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), municipal police, the 911 System and a team of recreational creatives.
A total of 1,500 means of land transport and specialized equipment were arranged and 11 boats were activated with personnel trained to deal with emergencies on the coast of the entity.
During the event, the regional president provided new uniforms and equipment to the troops, to ensure that they have the necessary tools for efficient work.
“I must recognize the work of each of our security agencies to accompany us in this deployment,” he said.
Serrano also placed special emphasis on citizen prevention. “We ask our tourists to also contribute to safeguarding their safety and life. They are spaces equipped for enjoyment, but awareness is key so that everyone can return to their homes in peace and happiness,” he stressed.
For his part, the commander of the Integral Defense Zone (ZODI) 83, G/D Daniel Rudo Parra, reported that effective monitoring of the territory has been carried out, in order to confirm that in the state of Miranda there are 49 beaches suitable for public enjoyment.
The operation not only focuses on surveillance, but also on healthy leisure. Thanks to the coordination with the Ministry of Tourism, and the Ministries of Tourism and Sports, spaces for recreation, games and culture have been set up on beaches and rivers for children and young people.
