The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, assured that if the United States government wants to obtain our oil, it must cancel it at international market prices.

During a meeting with the people of Caucagua, Miranda state, the Head of State repudiated recent statements by a U.S. official in which “he expresses himself as if Venezuela belonged to them.”

He also reiterated his willingness to dialogue with the United States government as long as this is done within the framework of respect for our sovereignty and independence. “Don't you want dialogue? I don't care, what matters to me is the history, the struggle, the dignity and the future of the Venezuelan people, today, tomorrow and always,” he said to the excited crowd.

In the same way, he assured that the presidential candidates of the right respond to the interests of North American imperialism and not to those of the Venezuelan people, as he does.
