Following the guidelines of the governor of the state Miranda, Elio Serrano and the coordinating secretary of Public Security, Jaseen Sánchez, within the framework of strategic security planning, the coordination meeting for Operation Carnival 2026 was held.

Miranda Civil Protection, in its account on the social network Instagram, specified that the main objective of the meeting was to establish operational and preventive guidelines to ensure the protection of citizens during the holiday period, integrating the efforts of Miranda Civil Protection, Miranda Firefighters, Miranda State Police and the Health, Sports, Technology and the Miranda Ministry of Tourism teams.

Currently, the authorities are in an intensive phase of adjusting and optimizing logistical details, ensuring that each response protocol and technical resource is fully aligned to provide maximum efficiency during the holidays.

This day reinforces the commitment of citizen security institutions under the doctrine of the Peace Quadrants, ensuring a timely and efficient response throughout the region.

The working group developed an agenda focused on optimizing Miranda's resources and territorial coverage.

The meeting concluded with the validation of the operational roadmap by the competent authorities. The importance of maintaining an active presence on highways and resorts was reaffirmed, under the premise of “Permanent Preventive Action”, ensuring that the state of Miranda is consolidated as a safe and resilient destination during Carnival 2026.
