The Bolivarian Government of Miranda, through the Secretariat of Transport and Mobility, in an articulated work with the Municipal Superintendency of Tax Administration (SUMATCRIR), held a strategic meeting with mass transport blocks and motorcycle taxi drivers to advance the comprehensive digitalization of the sector.

In this regard, the mayor's office noted that the main objective of this action was to coordinate the delivery of smart cards for use in the Don Simón Rodríguez terminal, as well as the implementation of credentials with QR codes for motorized users.

In this regard, it was known that carriers will have smart cards that will allow digitized management of the infrastructure, eliminating manual processes and streamlining the flow of units.

Piver Puente, Secretary of Transportation and Mobility, highlighted the importance of this progress. “We are complying with instructions from the municipal government to modernize our transportation system. This technology not only makes the driver's job easier, but it also guarantees more efficient control over the use of our facilities.”

The modernization will reach the way in which citizens interact with the service, by strengthening a technological platform designed to simplify the payment of tickets through digital means.

“With these actions, the municipal government, led by Mayor Yuhismar Hernández, reaffirms its commitment to the development of intelligent, efficient urban mobility adapted to current technological demands, positioning Charallave as a reference in the digital management of public transport in the region,” said the Mirandino Government.
