Miranda Governorate serves more than 300 people during a health day in Cartanal

Through a comprehensive health day, more than 300 people from the South 2 community of the Cartanal parish, in the Independencia municipality of Miranda state, were treated this week.

According to information issued by the government, the activity was achieved thanks to the action of doctors from the Cartanal Comprehensive Community Health Area (ASIC), the Organized Popular Power, the Hugo Chávez Battle Units (UBCh) and street leaders.

The services provided include general medicine consultations , pediatrics, drug delivery for chronic diseases, and other services.

In this regard, the mayor of the municipality, Rayner Pulido, specified that a house-to-house visit was carried out to treat prioritized health cases, carry out vaccination against COVID-19 and other diseases, as part of the plan for the optimization of the health system that is being carried out in the entity.

“With these actions, the national, regional and municipal governments, together with the Ministry of Health, are working to provide better health services to the population of the Independencia municipality,” Pulido said.
