During a tour carried out this Wednesday afternoon, June 19, through the state of Miranda, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, noted that “the people of Miranda reject the privatization of health proposed by the opposition.”

At the opening ceremony of the UENB Miguel Otero Silva, which serves more than 1000 students in basic and diversified education, the Head of State rejected the plan of the Venezuelan right that seeks to come to power to impose a neoliberal privatization plan for priority sectors for society such as health and education.

“Do the patarucos and the pro-imperialist oligarchy in Miranda agree with the plan of the right wing to privatize health and education?” , the head of state asked those present. Minister Gabriela Jiménez, on behalf of those present at the event, rejected that possibility and supported free and quality health established in the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
