Misión Milagro begins third day of surgery in Barinas

The Misión Milagro Foundation began the third Cataract Surgery Day in the state of Barinas; this 1×10 Good Governance initiative will provide medical care to 150 patients from various municipalities in the state of Llanera.

The operational activity began on Monday and will continue throughout the week at the facilities of the Socialist Surgical Ophthalmological Center; the medical deployment seeks to directly resolve the visual pathologies diagnosed in the local population.

The deployment is due to the need to effectively respond to requests made by citizens through the VenApp application; this mechanism articulates public management with the priority demands of communities in terms of health care.

The interventions involve the participation of a specialized multidisciplinary team from the Visual Health Program. The joint work between State institutions guarantees free medical assistance to citizens treated in the territory of Barinas.
