Misión Milagro de Barinas captured more than 200 children with strabismus for subsequent treatment

More than 200 children and adolescents from the state of Barinas were evaluated during a special day to recruit patients with strabismus, according to the website of the newspaper Último Noticias (UN).

According to the publication, the activity was carried out in conjunction with the Miracle Mission, the El Niño Simon National Foundation and the State Government; to provide care for patients selected through a previous census and through the 1×10 system of Good Governance.

“The cases captured will now be included in a resolution protocol that includes, depending on the diagnosis of each minor, surgical interventions or corrective treatments (bilateral or unilateral),” the newspaper reported.
