According to the press release, the patients underwent cataract surgery, thanks to coordination between the Miracle Mission, the Warriors of Love Foundation of the Antolín del Campo mayor's office and the government of Nueva Esparta.
Ana Michini, regional health authority, highlighted the importance of these visual health days and indicated that they will continue to be deployed progressively. “These days will go from municipality to municipality; that will depend on the preparation of all patients. There are a significant number in each of them and we hope to meet the goal,” he said.
