Misión Milagro treated more than 400 patients in Anzoátegui

The Bolivarian Government of the state of Anzoátegui, through the Miracle Mission, deployed a medical-surgical operation at the Jesús de Nazareth Municipal Clinic, Sotillo, to treat 416 patients.

According to information published on the web portal of the newspaper Última Noticias, 321 people were evaluated and selected for ophthalmic interventions, of which 266 correspond to cataract operations and 55 to pterygium procedures.

While another 95 people received specialized evaluation in retinal, glaucoma, cornea and the delivery of corrective lenses, as part of a comprehensive strategy that responds to the community and preventive health model.

Mayor Jesús Marcano Tábata said that “in Sotillo, ensuring health is a daily task. This day represents the spirit of the revolution: social justice, direct attention to the people and transformation. We align ourselves with the seven great transformations and are responding to our people. Here, every patient treated is a collective victory.”
