Misión Nevado has applied more than three thousand rabies vaccines in Apure

More than three thousand doses of rabies vaccines have been placed by officials of the Nevado Mission in Apure state on canines, felines, rabbits, and others in downtown communities.

Isamar Espinoza, regional coordinator of the organization, indicated that the activity included medical examination, deworming and vitamin therapy, complying with the guidelines of the National Government to combat this zoonotic disease, details a local press release.

Within the framework of this day, citizens were also sensitized to the responsible adoption of rescued animals, while a call was made to the population to prioritize adoption over the purchase of pets, emphasizing that rescuing an animal in a vulnerable situation offers a commitment of affection and loyalty that does not guarantee any commercial certificate.
