Misión Nevado inaugurated headquarters in La Guaira

This Thursday, the Nevado Mission presented its new headquarters at the Misión Nevado Venezuela Renace hostel, a specialized center for the care and protection of animals rescued after the double earthquake of last June 24.

The infrastructure has accommodation areas for dogs and cats, a training park, a hairdresser, an area for preparing special diets, a veterinary office, an equipped operating room and a laboratory assisted with artificial intelligence technology, the mission details in a press release.

During the presentation of the space that will provide community veterinary consultation services, vaccination and sterilization days, the president of the Nevado Mission, Maigualida Vargas, explained that the initiative emerged from the approach work carried out in the state of La Guaira after the seismic event .

“They were asking us what we would do with the animals we were rescuing from La Guaira. And we began to dream of a space that had the decent and necessary conditions for their well-being, that would have large kennels, that would have a space for cutting-edge veterinary care, where we could also meet volunteers, who are part of the Nevado Mission and those who love animals, to be able to give them care, rehabilitation, affection, attention,” Vargas said through a video posted on Instagram.
