Misión Venezuela Joven treated people from Monaguense with a health day

A total of 200 young people from the state of Monagas were assisted by the Great Venezuela Youth Mission, said the president of the autonomous service for the care of youth and students in the state government of the entity, Genesis Canelón.

“Today we are serving young students under the fourth vertex of the Great Venezuela Youth Mission (...) We will be carrying out these health activities over the next few weeks in the municipalities of Libertador, Aguasay, Acosta, Uracoa and Bolívar,” he said.

Through a press release from the government, it became known that through the Secretariat of Social Development, and the Regional Directorate of Health, together with the National Institute of Nutrition, the members of this great mission offered a health day to students of Middle and Diversified Education, INCES and the Rómulo Gallegos University.

Among the services offered during the day are: delivery of medications, placement of contraceptive implants, counseling and family planning, laboratory tests, gynecology, general medicine, immunization (anti-amaryllic, Covid, toxoid), psychological counseling and nutritional evaluation.
