Through a statement, the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries (MNOAL) categorically condemned the act of aggression perpetrated by the United States (USA) against Venezuela, on January 3, 2026, which included armed attacks against civilian and military objectives in Caracas, as well as in various cities in the Venezuelan territory.

In addition, in the text shared by the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, through his Telegram channel, the MNOAL noted that the actions of the United States constitute a flagrant violation of the “purposes and principles enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations, as well as the norms of international law.”

Faced with these actions that undermine the country's sovereignty and peace, the international organization demanded the immediate cessation of all hostilities against Venezuela, “full respect for the sovereignty, territorial integrity, political independence and the inalienable right to self-determination of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, and that those responsible be brought to justice.”
