Monagas: 5,508 civil servants who will be deployed in the 13 municipalities during the Major Week

Governor Ernesto Luna led, this Thursday, April 10, the security deployment within the framework of Operation Safe Holy Week Monagas 2025, according to information issued by the government.

The operation is made up of 5,508 officials who will be deployed in the state's 13 municipalities, ensuring the safety of residents and visitors during these days of Major Week.

“I want to call on all citizens to take care of and protect ourselves. We cannot drive under the influence of alcohol and cause the loss of human life. I ask the security forces to be more rigorous, in order to prevent traffic accidents, especially those caused by motorcycles,” said the regional president.

For his part, Romerl Domínguez, commander of the Integral Defense Zone (ZODI), said that the device includes surveillance in three natural monuments, an airport and 74 spas.

“The device will be supported by 94 vehicles, 410 motorcycles, eight cranes, three boats and 14 ambulances, strategically distributed in 46 public service points (PACs),” the Government reported.
