Cardiovascular de Oriente treated more than 25,000 patients in 2024
A total of 53,535 treatments were provided during 2024 by the Cardiovascular Center of the East (CCO) “Dr. Miguel Hernández”, located in the municipality of Maturín in the state of Monagas.
This was reported by the Government of the eastern entity, through a press release, in which it detailed that these services favored 25,768 patients in 14 vital services.
The areas served were Outpatient Consultation, with 8,456; electrocardiograms, 12,832; blood pressure measurement, 13,566; preoperative periods, 1,207, and Cardiovascular Medical Guidance, 7,710.
In addition, they pointed out that the Rehabilitation Service registered 5,401 attentions, while in the Chest Pain Unit there were 1,603, in Pediatric Cardiac Consultations there were 551, the Coronary Care Unit was awarded 840, for Surgery 135, placement of 685 holters and 442 stress tests were performed.
