Monagas Government advances road lighting work on the Parare national highway

The Government of Monagas State and the Ministry of Popular Power for Public Works (MPPOP) are making progress in implementing the project to improve the lighting system of the national road in the Parare sector, located in the southern part of the Maturín municipality.

According to information issued by the government, this public lighting project will cover 10 kilometers of road, in the first two phases.

It was also known that so far 33 poles have been placed and dressed, only in the Villas del Sur community, where more than 1,500 people live. In addition, more than 3,450 inhabitants of the Libertadores del Sur Commune will benefit.

“Marlenys Guerra, community spokesperson, thanked President Nicolás Maduro and Governor Ernesto Luna for the efforts they have been carrying out to improve public lighting in the community, stressing that this project is the most voted by Popular Power, and put into operation by the Bolivarian Government, to prevent traffic accidents from continuing to occur in the area,” the Government reported.
