Monagas Governorate delivers supplies to mental health care centers

The government of the state of Monagas carried out the delivery of supplies to 13 mental health centers in the entity with the objective of guaranteeing well-being and compliance with treatments to each of the patients who require it.

The distribution of medicines was carried out by the Office of Citizen Services and a total of 350,000 tablets were delivered, including antidepressants, anxiolytics and antipsychotics.

“On behalf of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro and Governor Ernesto Luna, we are guaranteeing the treatment of psychiatric patients with the delivery of medications that will be distributed in the region and that we will repeat periodically,” said Miguel Figueroa, coordinator of the agency responsible for the delivery.
