More than 120 athletes participate in national power evaluation in Aragua

This Thursday, February 19, in the state of Aragua, the official evaluation and verification of the national power team was carried out with athletes from the pre-youth, youth, adult and master categories, as part of the technical evaluation process with a view to participating in the international events of the 2026 calendar of this discipline.

The event was attended by delegations from 13 states of the country, Aragua (host), Yaracuy, Lara, Portuguesa, Guárico, Miranda, Cojedes, Mérida, Distrito Federal, Anzoátegui, Sucre, Bolívar and Táchira, thus consolidating a wide national representation.

“Welcome everyone, this is your home. We are going to continue to put ourselves in order and support them in whatever is necessary, we thank them for their presence and talent in the national team,” Carlos España, president of the Regional Sports Institute of Aragua, told the athletes.

In total, around 120 athletes distributed in the 19 divisions comprising power sports participated, demonstrating the growth and competitive strengthening of the discipline in Venezuela.

This evaluation is part of the strategic plan for preparing the national team, focused on raising the competitive level and ensuring outstanding Venezuelan representation on international stages during 2026.
