More than 1,200 people from Monagua benefited during a comprehensive health care day

The Ministry of Health (MinSalud), through the Mission System, provided 1,242 services during a Day within the framework of the “Love in Action Plan” carried out at the “Daughters of Chávez” Mission Base, located in the Tarragona community, Areo parish of the Cedeño municipality of Monagas state.

During the Primary Care Operational Plan, the beneficiaries received free assistance through the medical team in the Integral Community Health (ASIC) area, where consultations were provided for General Medicine, Dentistry, Ophthalmology, blood pressure and anthropometric measurements, immunization, deworming, delivery of vitamin supplements and medications for different pathologies.

Similarly, according to a press release from the Health portfolio, attendees received talks on gender-based violence, family education, the influence of social networks, prevention of sexually transmitted diseases, duties and rights of children and adolescents, as well as body care, hairdressing and barbering services

In addition, the children present were given school supplies, shoes and toys, enjoying recreational and sports activities.
