This Monday, non-governmental organizations and regional media report that after the recent attacks by armed groups in Syria, more than 1,300 people have died, including women and children.

The number of deaths reached 1,311, of which 830 were civilians. This increase is the result of an operation by security forces carried out in reaction to attacks by Alawite militants against the newly established de facto administration of Damascus.

Telesur on its website detailed that many civilians are sentenced to capital punishment or killed in cold blood. The list of victims also includes 231 members of the security forces and 250 militants loyal to the previous government.

Human rights organizations called on the de facto authorities in Syria to hold security personnel who participate in these massacres to account.
