More than 140 officials provide security to Petareños in the living Viacrucis

More than 140 officials, members of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB), the municipal (PoliSucre) and state police (PoliMiranda), in addition to Civil Protection (PC), accompany the people of the Petare parish in the religious activities of this Holy Week 2026.

This was reported by the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs and Cults, Edgar Arteaga, from the El Nazareno sector, of the Sucre municipality in Miranda, where more than 30 ambulances and 100 patrol motorcycles were deployed to accompany the faithful in the program designed for this religious holiday.

“We have made a device to be able to take care of our entire people, so that they are calm (...) after mass, the entire staging of our viacrucis begins, which is a very beautiful, very beautiful, very heartfelt artistic representation, and this is the second year that it is up to us to accompany them so that everyone feels calm, feels at peace, feels accompanied”, he summarized in his public statements.

The Bolivarian Government official stressed that public entities do the same to create conditions of tranquility and that believing people, and citizens in general, live their Holy Week in peace and with family.

“And the most important thing of all is that we have asked him for all this week on all our tours; yesterday we toured the seven temples and every day we made our journey to be with the people, and we are asking them to raise our prayers to our Lord Jesus Christ, for the peace of the world, for the peace of Venezuela and for the accompaniment of all our people.”
