More than 1,400 families in El Callao received comprehensive medical care from the CVG

More than 1,470 people from the Nueva Jerusalén sector, municipality of El Callao, in the state of Bolívar , were treated with a comprehensive medical day offered by the Ministry of Ecological Mining Development and Basic Industries.
According to information issued by the Ministry, the conference was held through the Venezuelan Mining Corporation (CVM), and is part of the territorial approach programs that seek to guarantee the right to health and raise the quality of life of mining populations.
The care provided includes general and internal medicine, gynecology, pediatrics, psychology, nutrition; immunization for children and adults, against Toxoid, Yellow Fever, Measles, Rubella, Mumps, Pentavalent and Polio, orally and intramuscularly.
It was also known that medicines and technical and social aids such as crutches, anti-decubitus mattresses, subdermal implants, double beds, baskets and bathtubs were provided.
