More than 14,000 older adults were cared for by the Great Mission Grandparents and Grandmothers of the Homeland

Nearly 14,000 older adults were assisted by the Great Mission Grandparents and Grandmothers of the Fatherland through More Years, More Love days in 14 municipalities in the Portuguese state.
During the activity, more than 22,000 medicines were delivered in Portuguesa and the community organization axis reinforced the creation of grandparent circles, which promote spaces for exchange and support among older adults.
“We are in Guanare, celebrating a day of health More Years, More Love,” said the Deputy Minister of Organization and Participation, Diógenes Linares.
These days not only seek to improve health care and nutrition, but also to promote the integration of older adults through recreational activities, according to a press release from Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).
