With the objective of guaranteeing comprehensive education, the Bolivarian Government benefited 14,386 children and young people from 138 educational institutions in the 20 municipalities of the state of Trujillo.

The delivery, coordinated by the Ministry of Education and the Communal Self-Government Chambers, consisted of school kits consisting of uniforms, footwear and backpacks for all levels of the Basic Education Subsystem.

The sole authority of Education, Alexis Briceño, highlighted that the day included the distribution of tools in emblematic centers such as the “Laudelino Mejías” Industrial Technical School, where 284 students received their supplies. Briceño stressed that these social policies seek to ensure decent conditions and quality tools for student well-being throughout the region.

Simultaneously, the plan to strengthen the School Feeding Program (PAE) was implemented, which benefited 10,000 students from 30 institutions. For this purpose, specialized equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, kitchen irons and utensils was delivered, as well as microscopes for laboratories and the incorporation of a Thermo King truck designed to optimize the food distribution network.

It was also reported that deliveries will continue progressively in the rest of the state's campuses. This work has the support of more than 500 chefs from the country, who now have better tools to optimize the dining service and ensure food security for the Trujillo school population.
